Creating categories for clearer sorting of courses. Each course can be classified into multiple categories.
Categories can be used for targeted display of courses in the Education Catalog.
Visibility in the Education Catalogue
The Do not display in Education Catalog option hides the category when setting up to display courses in folders. Courses that have been placed in a hidden category can still be found (in the Education Catalog) under the All option.
Limiting the visibility of individual courses to students is handled by the targeting feature within the course settings.
