Lesson structure

The lesson is divided into chapters and pages. While the chapter names are displayed in the course menu, the page names do not matter, the titles are not displayed anywhere.

To create a lesson structure, use the New Chapter and New Page buttons in the Lesson Contents section.

Content Editor

In Course Builder, lessons are created in the so-called WYSIWYG editor, i.e. the HTML page editor. This is a simplified editor that offers basic options for formatting the page.

To access the editor, click on the page title (or the Settings icon) in the Lesson Content window.

You can use the editor controls located in the top bar to format the content.

This method of course production has limited content formatting options We recommend using it only for creating simple, short courses or courses with video content.

For creating courses with enhanced content visualization, we recommend using the optional PPT Learning module and the PowerPoint course creation option.

How to insert a video into a lesson

There are several ways to create video lessons. The simplest ones include uploading the video file to a streaming server (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and placing the link to the video in the lesson in Course Builder.

Click on the video button (Embedded Media from External Site) and enter the URL of the video in the following dialog box.

Insert video link URL

Posting a lesson to a course

To publish a lesson to a course, it is possible to use either the buttons to export the lesson to a ZIP file (in SCORM 1.2 standard) or a more convenient way to directly move the lesson to the course via the Publish to LMS button.

Select the course you want to upload the lesson to from the drop-down menu, add a message for the administrator and use the Save button to upload the lesson to the course. Publishing the lesson is done by the administrator.

One lesson can be published to multiple courses.
